I will personally ensure Dr. Bawumia keeps his words- Ken Agyapong to Spare Parts Dealers
Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has assured the spare parts dealers at Abossey Okai in the Greater Accra Region that he is policing the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to ensure that he fulfilled his promises to introduce flat tax rate for them when he becomes president.
In a spirited rally at Abossey Okai in the Ablekuma Central Constituency, he called upon the local residents to fully support the ruling party during the 2024 elections saying, he will be selfish if he fails to campaign for Dr. Bawumia.
He campaigned alongside the running mate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh during his visit to Abossey Okai.
The New Patriotic Party in the manifesto has promised to repeal all twenty taxes and introduce flat tax rate for the spare parts dealers.
He assured the spare parts dealers, he will ensure that Dr. Bawumia when become president fulfill all the promises made to them .
The Former NPP Flagbearer Hopeful called upon the local residents to fully support the ruling party during the 2024 elections.
During his address, Kennedy Agyapong highlighted the critical need to elect Bawumia as the nation’s next president, citing the promise of a substantial economic revival under his governance.
He recognized the struggles that the businesses at Abossey Okai are grappling with, especially the steep port duties, and gave his assurance that Bawumia is dedicated to alleviating these financial strains upon his election.
He passionately appealed to the crowd, “Our vice-president and the flagbearer for the 2024 election is among us.
” I implore each of you to dedicate yourselves to ensuring his victory, confident in the knowledge that it will herald a new era of economic prosperity for our country.”
He added that the so called socialist party, the NDC has failed in their regime to address challenges Ghanaian’s are going through but it took the capitalist to introduce social interventions for the people of Ghana.
Kennedy Agyapong explained despite the current economic challenges, the alternative would be detrimental for the youth of this country which is why he has decided to support Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
