Speaking at the MTN Bright Conversations Cyber Security Month event on October 28, 2024, with the theme “Navigating the Digital World Safely: Awareness, Action, and Assurance.”
The event’s main purpose was to raise awareness about internet safety among a live studio audience.
Bernard Acquah of MTN stated that the bulk of attacks come from unfamiliar sources, thus customers should be cautious about their security codes.
He stressed the significance of cyber security in the present digital age and encouraged people to treat the matter seriously.
He cautioned against sharing personal information recklessly, stating that doing so increases vulnerability to internet threats.
