COKA implores SDA leadership to urge members to vote on Saturday, December 7.
The Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, also known as COKA, has made a passionate appeal to the leadership of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church to encourage their members to vote on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
According to him, the SDA church has 800,000 members, with the youth wing accounting for 70% of the total, and no one should be disadvantaged because of their faith.
Dr. Mathee Opoku Prempeh aka Napo and Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah aka COKA worship at the SDA church in Bantama during the recent NPP large walk.
In his most recent Facebook post, Chairman COKA stated, “I have been following our (NPP) running partner, Dr. Napo, advocating for votes for our party and our flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (DMB).
‘We have visited several churches, including the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church’.
The momentum and reception have been quite positive.I’ve also seen a recent statement from the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church regarding December 7, which occurs on Saturday, the Sabbath day.I believe something should be done right now to persuade people to change their minds and participate in the December 7 elections, which take place on Saturday.”
Chairman COKA stated that the country should not leave them out of the December 7 elections.”While we wait for the future reform of the law on December 7, I’d like to request that you (SDA leadership) push your people to vote on December 7.Voting in elections is both a civil responsibility and a Godly work.
