E/R: NDC losses touch on political grounds; focus on spiritual rallies-Atta Akyea

Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Hon. Samuel Atta Akyea says the NDC has lost touch on political grounds and could no longer hold rallies, they have focused on spiritual rallies hence has downplayed a recent prophecies made by some men of God.

The member of parliament described the prophecy as mere human predictions rather than divine declarations.

Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd at Asiakwa in the Abuakwa South constituency during the running mate’s tour of the area, Hon. Atta Akyea downplayed the significance of the prophecy, cautioning Ghanaians against placing too much emphasis on such predictions.

He argued that elections are determined by the will of the people through the ballot box, rather than through spiritual declarations.

Atta Akyea emphasized the importance of focusing on the issues that matter most to Ghanaians, such as the economy, education, and intrastructure.

He urged political parties and their supporters to engage the electorate with substantive plans for the country’s future, rather than relying on spiritual interventions.

He said it was shameful that the same prophet who insulted Mahama some time past is the same person who is declaring victory for the NDC and Mahama couldn’t realize these lies.

He further encouraged engagement with electorates to outline plans for Ghana’s future.

He reiterated that while spiritual leaders are entitled to their views, the democratic process remains the legitimate way to choose the nation’s leadership, and voters should feel free to make their decision without external influence.

Addressing a crowd in the Eastern Region, Samuel Atta Akyea encouraged Ghanaians to remain optimistic about the prospect of excellent governance under Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh’s leadership.

He said the NDC fails to give us light and will collapse the Free SHS. For him, the NPP remains the best choice for Ghanaians, and that everyone, particularly the members of the party needed to work hard to ensure the party’s victory in 2024 saying that Mahama cannot not become President again and is on spiritual holiday. He called on continues to support his predecessor to succeed.
