NAPO warns voters in Afram Plains,supporting NDC will delay the development of Donkorkrom.


The New Patriotic Party’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has advised voters in the Eastern Region’s Afram Plains North not to support the National Democratic Congress (NDC), claiming that doing so will postpone Donkorkrom’s development. He feels that the NDC is not really interested in the development of the area, thus voting for them would be essentially pointless. stressed that only the NPP has the best interests of Ghanaians at heart while speaking to the chiefs, community members, Zongo chiefs, and party members.


He further pointed out that despite voting massively for the NDC in past elections, the NDC consistently neglects the area needs whenever they are in power. Napo expressed his surprise and disappointment at the NDC’s discriminatory attitude towards the people of Afram Plains.

Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh also urged Afram Plains North constituents to change their voting pattern. He insisted that the NPP has consistently proven to be an all-inclusive party that does not discriminate.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice-Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as part of the campaign tour also commissioned the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) machines in Afram Plains North. During the commissioning ceremony, Dr. Prempeh urged the people of Afram Plains to vote massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s Presidential Candidate, on December 7.

He emphasized that this decision is crucial for maintaining the current developmental trajectory of the constituency and the country as a whole. The introduction of the DRIP machines he said is a testament to Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to infrastructure development and economic growth. -Messiah Asamoah Communications Director, NAPO Inspires

NAPO assured them that voting for Dr Bawumia is electing a leader who will steer Ghana forward by implementing transformative policies to enhance the country’s development.

Jeffrey Ohene Konadu, the NPP’s Eastern Regional Chairman, urged the local chiefs and people to reconsider and cast their ballots for the party this time. Despite being a native of the region, he laments that the people refused to allow him to enter parliament in 2012 to bring about the necessary advancements. Nevertheless, he vows to carry on and will back the parliamentary candidate in order to bring about the necessary development in the area.

In his speech, Anim Asiamah, the Afram Plains North parliamentary candidate, discussed the numerous development initiatives implemented in the community.

He urged voters to support the NPP this time around.
