EC deliberately denied Bernard Monah’s bid – Mark Ewusi.
The People’s National Convention (PNC), has threatened to take legal actions against the Electoral Commission (EC) following the disqualification of their flagbeaerer in the 2024 general elections.
The EC in a press release announced the exclusion of PNC Candidate from running in the presidential election on December 7, 2024.
The EC rejected several presidential contenders, including Bernard Mornah of the People’s National Convention (PNC) , Nana Stephens Adjepong, Paul Perkoh, James Kwesi Oppong, John Enyonam Kwakwu Kpikpi, Dr. Samuel Sampong Ankrah, and Nii Amu Darko.
The remaining candidates are Samuel Apea-Danquah, Desmond Abrefah, and Kofi Asamoah Siaw (Progressive People’s Party).
Speaking on Key Note Show Friday, September 20, Mark Ewusi Arkoh National Youth Organizer of PNC accused the Electoral Commissioner as being dishonest to them.
According to him, The PNC will seek “an order of prohibition to reverse the EC balloting for position of presidential candidates for the 7th December elections.
According to Mark Arkoh, the commissioner is wary about the type of candidate they are bringing on board.
‘I can state for a certainty that the commission purposely cut us off because of Bernard Mornah, they are terrified of his prowess and victory ,’ he claims.
He emphasized, “We will impose an injunction on the elections.”
